RECOMMENDED ATTIRE

Recommended attire during the runway trials and fitting session at Fashion Week Bangkok® is crucial for a professional and stylish event. It aligns with the sophistication of the fashion industry, creates a cohesive atmosphere, avoids distractions from inappropriate clothing, and upholds standards of professionalism.

It is highly recommended that all models arrive to the fitting and trial sessions well-rested and with a clean and fresh appearance. #Note: Confidence is an essential factor for a successful runway performance and should be cultivated by all models.

FOR FEMALE MODELS

  • Wear form-fitting attire, such as a short blue denim skirt and plain white blouse combo that flatters the body shape. Alternatively, a well-fitted pair of blue denim shorts with a plain white T-shirt can also work well.

  • Black stilettos or heels with a minimum height of 4 inches are mandatory.

  • Must have a clean-shaven or waxed body and a feminine appearance.

  • Avoid wearing clothing with loud or distracting patterns.

  • Avoid wearing jeans, capris, or dungarees.

  • Avoid wearing sandals or flip-flops during the sessions.

  • It's recommended to choose a simple hairstyle with no oil and avoid excessive makeup.

  • Avoid wearing heavy colognes or fragrances that could be overpowering.

FOR MALE MODELS

  • Wear form-fitting attire that flatters the masculine physique, such as well-fitted blue denim jeans with a plain, solid white-colored T-shirt or shirt.

  • Wear comfortable shoes or sneakers during the fitting and trial sessions. Black formal shoes are also acceptable.

  • Must have well-groomed hair with no excessive oil and should either be clean-shaven or have a well-groomed beard.

  • Avoid wearing sandals or flip-flops during the sessions.

  • Avoid wearing shorts or quarter pants or clothing with loud or distracting patterns.

  • Avoid wearing heavy colognes or fragrances that could be overpowering.

  • Avoid overly tight clothing that may restrict movement or appear unflattering.

FOR VOLUNTEERS

  • Choose business-casual attire that includes options like black slacks, blouses, skirts, and button-up shirts for women, while men can opt for slacks, dress shirts, and blazers.

  • Wear neutral color closed-toe shoes that have a low or moderate heel for women, and sneakers or formal shoes for men, as you may be standing or walking for extended periods and for a professional look.

  • Avoid wearing flip-flops or sandals.

  • Clothing must be clean, pressed, and free of wrinkles.

  • Avoid wearing clothes that are too casual, such as shorts, T-shirts with logos, or athletic wear, and avoid loud patterns or bright colors that may be distracting.

  • Style your hair neatly and professionally.

  • Use minimal makeup to achieve a natural and polished appearance.
