APPLICATION CRITERIA
-
Fashion Week Bangkok® welcomes luxury brands/designer houses, independent designers, startups/budding designers, Millinery, jewelry and accessories, kidswear, resort wear, and intimate wear designers to participate in the event.
-
To be eligible, the design house/brand should have an active website and social media presence on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, and a minimum of one year in business.
-
Individual designers and startups who want to launch their brand, label, or collection can also register for the event, with the option of customized launching plans through our "Next Wave" Platform.
-
Designers are expected to showcase original designs that are available for purchase from the show date, and wholesale price points should align with couture or luxury standards, if applicable.
-
Supplementary materials such as press releases, design development details, and mood boards may be required by Fashion Week Bangkok® for upcoming collections.
-
The designer or design house team must submit a copy of their identification to BKKFW® by November 15, 2023.
-
Designers can showcase 10-20 outfits during the Spring-Summer'24 season, with the latest collection presented on the live runway in Bangkok, and selected pieces premiered globally on our digital fashion platform called "ORB."
-
Models will be provided at no additional cost for designers showcasing their collections on the physical runway, and the application fee covers the expenses of runway showcasing, makeup, and hairstyling services for models.
-
All designers must pay the full application fee within five days of confirming their participation. Failure to do so will nullify the application.
-
Individual designers, design houses, or brands can sign up for Fashion Week Bangkok® twice more within the same season, in case they are unable to complete the registration process during their initial attempt.
-
For virtual showcases on ORB, designers must seek approval from Fashion Week Bangkok® before selecting models for their collection video.
-
For showcases on the physical runway of Fashion Week Bangkok®, designers have the option to access models for one-time trials and fittings, but if more than one fitting session is required, they will be responsible for covering the transportation costs of the models.
NOTE: Fashion Week Bangkok® has the authority to evaluate and may grant designers exceptions to the typical application requirements in extraordinary circumstances.
